Part 1 of shades of blue

Digital photos

Trust there’s a lot of blue in these photos!!! I Decided to leave east Texas for two days to visit a good friend and see what life on the coast or the gulf I should say was like.

Did a few activities and one of them was visit the aquarium… one of the largest in Texas, felt a surge of inspiration and urgency for a lack of better words to bring my camera with me and just point and shoot.

The trip was a good refresher and charge of batteries, sitting at the beach listening to the sound of the wave crash and masayoshi takanaka really washed everything from my mind.

The drive is a different story which I’ll go over in the second post.

Questions for you nerds…. Do you think it’s ok to bring digit cameras to zoos, museums, aquariums etc?
Would you meditate at the beach or do you think people will call you weird?

Shout out to the homie Laney for showing me around she will be seen a few times throughout this photos

We are so back, not really but I did something. All summer I’ve been avoiding creating just so I could have a mental break from all the crazyness of each semester but alas summer is over and I’m back in school where I have to create every single week !!!!!

But this painting was inspired by my love of demon slayer and Japanese traditional tattoos. While I made a mask for a print making assignment I founds some inspo that I had save just I case I felt like creating something and who would of thought that I would have to do a 12x12 for receiving art scholarships, so random right ????

Well anyways this lil wonderful smiling fella will be up for action at the sfa fva 12x12 scholarship fundraising event, your boy will be there hurray….

Question of the week are you flexible enough to chew on your toenail? What’s favorite scary movie ?

Graphic Design finally!! These posters were made about the human experience, my human experience. Eh lo el 📍

the pressure of finals and trying to come up with a topic, design, and a message all I could think about was my inter turmoil.

I don’t particularly like to talk about my issues because how I was brought up. Asking for help made me feel weak and incapable of solving my issues and bothering someone else with it would just frustrate me even more so i decided to communicate some of those feelings with some posters that use double side questions and statements that help me feel grounded.

Usually my work doesn’t hit on the more emotional side but I’m starting to use my trauma, feeling etc more in my work and idk I been freaking with it.

Questions of the week: is a 9.5 a small shoes size or is 11 and up big? Are you joining us in the 100 men vs a 🦍 gorilla ? Yall freak with the emotional stuff? Yall freak with house music if so you coming with to then next house event? And yall think yall can make it in the walking dead?

This series focuses on the idea of having year book photos that actually represent the students personalities instead of the generic poses, the models were asked to make whatever pose they wanted. The name comes from the class favorite section of every yearbook and it’s up the audience to say what each photo is most likely to win.

As things are wrapping up in this semester I struggled to keep the creative juices going so when I had to come up with the idea for a photo series’s and like 3 posters my mind was blank.

The closer we get to the end of the semester it seems that projects like to pile on and when you wrap one up two more seem to appear. After competing in the National Student Advertising Competition my brain seem to crash due to the work overload. But alas it’s almost over.

Question of the week… do you know what in-yun is? Where you satisfied with you performance during the last two semesters? If you were to retake your yearbook photo what pose are you doing?

Aquatic business

This was a nice lil micro shoot that we came up with it’s focused on conducting business in a unconventional place such as the pool.

This was such a fun shoot… I know I say that a lot with every shoot but the more you do it the more creative you can get and having a fun group of models definitely elevates the vibes.

Semester is almost over which is putting a lot of stress on projects but hopefully I have some gas cooking up in the back for yall. At the moment photography has just been such awesome and quick creative release that it’s becoming easier and easier to do the whole process.

The question of the week will be: how do you feel about Ai? Do you hate it or do you see it as a tool? Bonus question: do you think you can live without cell phone reception for a whole week in the wilderness?

Hopefully I have some graphic design post coming that depending if I cook or not but none the less I’ll keep posting content.

Punkz is a series of photos that tries to capture young adults being young adults but often seen as Punks or disruptive by just occupying an unconventional space or being misjudged by the way they dress.

I’ve been enjoying the world of photography and editing. It’s became an enjoyable escape from all the stress. The amount of work that went into this shoot was crazy, 3 whole days of just working on angles and figuring out how to use a flash both on camera and off camera. Now I love flashes.

Also I bought a camera and submitted to two art exhibition with only photography … graphic design is still on the way just haven’t made anything super exciting there so for now it’s only photography lol.

The question until the next post is :
Will there ever be another big name like Picasso, Van Gogh, etc. And what would it take for someone to get there?

The second post with the rest of the night will hold us close photos will be posted sometime just wanted to add some variety to the feed let yall see what some of the stuff I’ve been doing and developing this editorial style… I hope you enjoy the photos!!!!

I’m so over being lonely - 9 x 12 prisma colors on mixed media paper.

Fun lil piece inspired by a friends make up look and a feeling of sadness and boredom … no one noticed is such a good song and I fits the vibe I had in mind for this drawing.

I wanted to express the tiredness of feeling depressed and lonely and almost feeling like a sad clown… I feel like a lot of people have a relatable moment or share the feeling of being tired of being sad.

This is the new format from now on I’ll share a tiny bit about the piece and or how I’m feeling or the process of coming up with the idea … like having a one way conversation… y’all are my new schizophrenic voices lol but fr don’t smoke is bad for you.

If you made it this far congrats you get some info about the painting and upcoming projects…. The painting captures a piranha caught mid bite or escaping from the shoal with a few more bite for itself.

This painting was for a auction conducted by the university in order to raise funds for scholarships in the school of arts at sfa. The auction will be held November 9th where it might or might not have a buyer already. I will be present at the auction disguised as myself so if you find me come say what’s up.

I have loads of works that need to be photographed and video ideas on the way so the days of just photos and collages will soon be moved seasoned or spicy for y’all
